Tissues Anyone?

Well, I've officially joined the ranks of the "not feeling well" crowd. Started with a cough...moved into a sore throat...and has now graduated into a drippy nose. (I know, more information than you probably wanted)... Don't know if its from being run down, stressed out or in a smoky environment (click here)... or maybe it's from all three. Either way, I can't afford to be feeling "under the weather" (not that anyone can). So, tonight I made some soup for dinner, hubby brought home some fresh french bread. I plan on eating the soup, putting on my jammies, crawling into bed... and hopefully feeling better tomorrow.

Good luck on feeling better soon. I think that I'm finally better from what I had a cough that just wouldn't go away.

I heard on the news that they did a study on what does and doesn't work on a cold... Chicken soup with veggies was one of the best. Vitamines, fluids, & heat.
Which reminds me that I need to go shopping.

I find the only thing better than chicken soup is chocolate.

Just kidding. Sorry to hear you are under the weather.

Of course you're run down, you are a multi-tasker.

P.S. Don't forget to sip lots of hot tea. And get some rest.

Not that anyone ever suffers from an advice deficit when they have a cold but, fresh pineapple can sometimes help lessen the effects of a sore throat. Of course, you should rest as much as you can.

hope you feel better very soon. I know that feeling lousy is the pits.

Renee - Thanks for the suggestions. Soup really helped.

Patti - It looks like I multi-tasked myself into a sick day.

Patches - I love fresh pineapple. Unfortunately, I'm not on a tropical island... and the stuff in the stores didn't look too good.

Only Oldest - Thanks.
