Interview Update

DH said that the interview went really well. They have some more people to interview, (hopefully they don't but just told him they do) and they will call him sometime next week.

DH was definitely less stressed after the interview. I am hoping that the less-stressedness (it's a word now, because I just used it:~) will continue until he lands a job. (I know that hope is probably purely fantasy, but it is my hope none-the-less).

I suspect that as next week progresses, DH will turn back into Grumpy... at least until he hears back from these people.

Breathe in...breathe out

I am familiar with this. But at least having any interview is a positive event. Possibilities exist if you're given a chance. Despite my current employment situation, I look at an interview as not so much a possible job, but as access to sell you on my abilities. There is always a chance for success.

That Ralph is so upbeat! :-)
and then there's me.. :-(

actually I am amazed at how well we are doing with such a drop in income
I know, what do I want, a medal??

Seriously, you two will be fine. You'll get through it together.

I really really hope that this works out for you. I know the limbo thing is so frustrating...we had the added joy of living with MIL when dh was out of work.

re my list...it hasn't calmed me down any. ;)

I'm going to take Ralph's approach should I find myself job hunting.

At least with interviewing, DH feels like he is active in the process. Inertia is crippling and leads to more grumpiness.

As long as he doesn't turn into Dopey, all will be well.

There's lots of inhaling and exhaling on this blog. Let's hope it's for a good cause. Go DH!
