The Ballad...Part 3

Here is the ballad that Elle turned in...

Late at night when the moon is high
and the air is calm and still.
I hear a sound outside my window
Beyond the window sill.

Chorus:
I hear the storm that's coming
I can smell the smell of rain
I think before the morning sun
My world will fill with pain.

I open up my window
see a movement in the tree
I fear that something evil
Will be coming after me.

I hear the storm that's coming
I can smell the smell of rain
I think before the morning sun
My world will fill with pain.

A flash as quick as lightening
Bursts before my eyes
I try to call for help
But no one hears my cries.

I hear the storm that's coming
I can smell the smell of rain
I think before the morning sun
My world will fill with pain.

Appearing right before me
with eyes as black as coal.
A vampire stands, shows his fangs
and decides to take my soul.

I hear the storm that's coming
I can smell the smell of rain
I think before the morning sun
My world will fill with pain.

This is the ballad that Elle turned in...what do you think?

I think she has an active imagination and a way with words. Kinda like her mom.

Sweeeeet, tell her I'm impressed and she needs to write a sequel to this!! I can see a movie set to this... yeh, I know, I think big.. LOL... what can I say... it's very good! All across the land as this storms moves across, the dark evil figure moves around taking people's souls... :) Keep writing, Elle's talented.

Whoa! I echo the comments of others - Elle is uber talented. Sequel, please?

Can she turn in all 3 for extra credit? I love them all!

All three are great. I think this one is the strongest.

I encourage her to continue. Writing is an excellent outlet at her age, uh who am I kidding, at any age.
