Wednesday:
End of year Girl Scout picnic (yeah)
Twelve didn't have to be there the whole time (yeah)
Girl Scout parents thanked my co-leader and me with money trees (yeah)
Thursday:
Girl Scout leader end of year meeting. (yeah)
Given an 'Outstanding Volunteer' pin (yeah)
Given an 'Outstanding Leader' pin (yeah)
(As an aside...I think that these pins were bribes by the service unit to try to entice me to continue being a leader)
Friday:
Well it's just yeah for being Friday
All in all, it turned out to be a great week. Now if the association where I live will just have a quorum for the voting meeting next week (when I will officially be off of the Board of Directors) that will be the icing on the cake. Happy Friday!!!!!

I'm first YAY!
I'm still going crazy Boo!
Those bunnies weren't mine. Boo!
We saw a sign for free kittens on the way home and Darly is making me crazy wanting to go see them! Boo!
hope it gets better soon
The #2 school is a pleasant surprise. I though we all might need to write letters in support of you to send to your boss's boss. All this good news and only 2 weeks until summer vacation!
Good news regarding the school and I am sure you are relieved.
Just think you are getting closer to vacation!!
This post made me really happy (except for the boo hiss parts, but those made me smile, too, for I liked how you did that...cute!)!!
Have a great weekend!
What a great (?) week...at least you have a mechanically new car, the new tires will prevent an accident, and you received service pins...you didn't hope for more than this, did you...
And you've crossed the finish line! Yay! What a week. I think a lot of people have had a crazy week.
Overall the week sounds good. I also like the way you wrote this.
Glad to hear about the school!
New tires are expensive, but they're important for safety.
Happy Saturday ~
Let's see the scorecard: 9 yeahs, 2 boo hisses. Wow...what a difference a week makes. Let's hope this trend continues!!! :~)
Renee - Hope you find some more yays!
Patches - Yep, school #2 and 9 more days of work for me...make me very happy!
The Moose Buyer - I am very relieved.
Arm - Glad that I could make you smile.
Ralph - I am very happy with how this week went. Other than all of the money that I had to spend on the car...but a woman's gotta do, what a woman's gotta do.
Nancy - I think you are right...must be something in the air.
Patti - I was so relieved when I received the email from my bosses boss...and even more relieved when I got the new assignment letter in school mail on Thursday;~)
Joan - I am hoping this trend continues.
Gosh, I'm sorry I'm so late on commenting... you had a lot accomplished that week, I'm proud of how you handled everything!
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!!
Cheers!
we walked to the house with the free kittens...boo!
the kittens were not outside and it would have totally inappropriate to ask to see them when we knew we couldn't take one so I talked DD into just walking by...eh
DD was very upset about not getting to see the kitties, so I started looking for some on youtube and went to lolcat instead, that made her happy and she forgot about the other kittens...YAY!
The parade had lots of good stuff in it this year (not so many politicians) YAY!
I got to talk to a very nice lady at the parade YAY!
I didn't end up spending all my money at the fair...YAY!
TBS is showing Shrek tonight...YAY (even though we have it on DVD, at least it's something good to watch.)
I've avoided eating dessert by blogging again and will hopefully loose a few more lbs before the wedding...YAY!
How's that for yays?
I think Renee is onto something. Avoid dessert by running straight to the computer after dinner to blog!
I like it.
P.S. Lynn, I made another seal
:-0
Michele - Thanks.
Renee - Good job on redirecting Darly! Twelve wants a cat too. Unfortunately we have coyotes where we live and if we got a cat it would need to stay indoors...DH doesn't want a cat who can only be indoors... he thinks cats should be allowed to go outside...here, that would be a death sentence...
Patti - I like Renee's idea as well...heck, I could just avoid all meals by blogging...then maybe I'd lose the 20 pounds. I will go check out your seal right now.
It's so nice when the yeahs outnumber the boo-hisses, isn't it? Mostly I'm happy for you to be done with the Girl Scout stuff.
:-)
Pam - I'm happy too.
