I saw my podiatrist yesterday. One part of my foot is still hurting (it's been almost two months since the surgery). He thinks it may be one of the screws in my foot. That means the screw needs to come out.
I asked him if he had some sort of magic wand to make the screw magically come out . He said that he doesn't (darn it!)...and that I need to have "a procedure" to have the screw removed : ( The "procedure" will take place in his office on June 15th.
I am not looking forward to it : ( sigh.......breathe in...breathe out

OUCH! I hope that he gets it all fixed for you.
Patti once had a fixation device to mend her shattered wrist. You wouldn't believe the removal process - it was a cordless screwdriver! I can't say for you, but Patti said it didn't hurt at all...
Laughing at Ralph..If all you need is a cordless drill, I'll be happy to perform the procedure in my kitchen, no copay required ;)
Renee - I hope that once the screw is removed the pain will go away.
Ralph - A cordless screwdriver would be fine with me...it's what the doctor needs to do to get to the screw that's worrying me.
Jaded - What a good friend you are...offering to remove the screw without charging a copay...I'll keep your offer in mind.
Ralph is correct, it didn't hurt at all...
best of luck to you, Lynn.
Hi Lynn. I hope by now your foot is completely recovered. How is the new school year going.
Just stopped by to see how you were doing. Hope you had a good summer!
Hi Lynn,
Please blog again. I miss you in the blogosphere...
I pulled back from FB - I was doing it too much last spring and summer.
Happy late November birthday! Was it on Turkey Day this year?
Hi,
I was wondering if you had any advertising or guest post opportunities available on your site? I would love the opportunity to work with you and I look forward to hearing back from you.
Thanks,
Emily
